K. Joan Rennie

K. Joan Rennie, 89, passed away October 28, 2008. Born in Cornwall, England to the late Frederick and Nellie (Denton) Griffiths, Joan lived on North Hill since 1926. She was a volunteer for AARP, local PTA and Victim's Assistant. Joan was also a faithful member of The Chapel. Along with her parents, Joan is preceded in death by her husbands, Wesley Cash and Forrest Rennie; and son-in-law, William Leask. She is survived by her daughter, Penny Leask; son Jerry (Sandra) Cash; grandchildren, Andy (Tammy) Cash, Stephanie Cash, Dan (Dawn) Leask and Michelle (Chris) Dodd; great-grandchildren, Griffin, Sydney, Hannah, Ryan, McKenna, Nathan, Andrew and Austin; nephew, Mark (Francis) Perkins; and fiance, Paul Warner. Funeral service will be Monday, 1:00 pm at HENNESSY-BAGNOLI FUNERAL HOME, 936 N. MAIN ST., AKRON with Dr. Robert A. Denton officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 2 to 4 pm at the funeral home. Joan's final resting place will be Rose Hill Burial Park.
