Kathleen E. Crater

Kathleen E. Crater, 93, passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2023 residing in Wadsworth, OH. She was born on Wednesday, April 24, 1929 in Akron, Ohio to the late Henry and Angela (Blank) Trares. Kathleen was a graduate of St. Vincent's High School and was a faithful member of Blessed Trinity Church. She was a lover of the outdoors, and enjoyed biking, boating, hiking, camping, and gardening. Kathleen especially loved spending time with her family.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Crater; son, Thomas Crater, daughter-in-law, Jill Crater. She is survived by her children, Linda (Gary) Dantz, Elaine (Michael) Sams, Paul (Jeannie) Crater and Kathy (Dean) Gulbrandson; 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; and many other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be Sunday, April 30, 2023 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. at Hennessy-Bagnoli-Moore Funeral Home, 936 North Main Street, Akron, Ohio 44310. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, May 1, 2023 at Blessed Trinity Church, 300 E. Tallmadge Ave., Akron, OH 44310. Kathleen's final resting place will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Akron, Ohio.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Blessed Trinity Church, in memory of Kathleen Crater.
