Kenneth Ray Higgins

Kenneth R. Higgins, 80, passed away on December 15, 2022. He was born in Barberton, OH and was raised in Doylestown, OH to Eugene and Eliza Higgins, who preceded him in death; along with an older brother, Billy G. Higgins.

Ken attended many trade schools and was a retired Boiler Engineer. He was a member of the Wadsworth Masonic Lodge #385.

He was also preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Marilyn Diane Higgins. Ken is survived by his daughters, Vickie (Bryan) Banks of Crestline, OH, Leslie Higgins of Lucas, OH; 5 grandchildren; brothers, Charles R. of Canal Fulton, OH; Robert D. of Akron, OH; stepchild, Russell Hall of Marion, OH; and 2 step grandchildren; niece, Melinda Higgins; along with other family member and friends.  

The family will greet friends at Bacher-Moore Funeral Home, 3250 Greenwich Rd., Norton, OH 44203 on Monday, December 26, 2022 from 12 to 2 p.m. Inurnment will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at 10:15 a.m.
