Larry Allyn Cunningham

Larry A. Cunningham, 73, loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and mentor, passed away Sunday, June 18, 2023.

Larry was born Friday, December 16, 1949 to the late Clarence and Betty (Gaug) Cunningham and lived in the Manchester area most of his life and recently in Barberton. He owned and operated the family business of F. Cunningham and Sons Inc. for over 50 years. Larry loved spending time with all of his different families, including his golf and bowling buddies. He lived a full life of adventure, from skiing, flying in a stunt plane, racecar driving and even jumping out of an airplane. Larry also loved giving his grandkids great bad ideas, and creating those special moments.

Larry is survived by his wife, Letha Jane Cunningham; sons, Anthony L. (Elena) Phillips, Thomas D. (Nancy) Kostecki; grandchildren, Anthony, Chloe, Angelina, Seraphia, Matthew; brother, David (Leslie) Cunningham; aunt, Patsy Cunningham; uncle, Vern SirLouis; and many other loving family and friends.

Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm, Thursday, June 22, 2023 at Bacher-Moore Funeral Home (Portage Lakes), 3326 Manchester Road, Akron, Ohio 44319, with Pastor Paul Gaug officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 21, 2023, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Bacher-Moore Funeral Home (Portage Lakes), 3326 Manchester Road, Akron, Ohio 44319. Larry's final resting place will be Greenlawn Memorial Park.
