Linda Marie Cogar

Linda Marie (nee Korb) Cogar, 63, passed away on December 23, 2020, after a long courageous battle with brain cancer. She was born December 27, 1956 in Akron to Lairdon Q. II and Evelyn Korb. She graduated from Green High School in 1975 and was a loving homemaker and had worked for Goodyear Tire & Rubber. Linda enjoyed cooking, crafts, sewing, and quilts. She was an animal lover, especially her black labs, she also loved going to Myrtle Beach on vacation.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, James Korb. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Larry Cogar; son, Shawn A. (Jessica) Cogar; daughter, Tiffany Ferguson; brother, Lairdon Q. Korb III; brothers and sisters-in-law, David (Margaret) and Margie (Butch); grandchildren, Landon, Lyla, Emma, Christiana, Shelby, Gracie, Gloria, and Skyler; many loving nieces, nephews, friends and childhood friend, Anna.

The family wishes to give special thanks to Dr. Sonia Sandhu and Dr. Daria Krivosheya for their loving care, support, and going the extra mile for Linda, also The Hospice Care Center of Fairlawn.

A private service will be held for the family, due to Covid19 restrictions.  Interment East Liberty Cemetery.

For the safety of the family and other guests, masks must be worn.
