Linda S. Woodward

Linda S. Woodward, 76, passed away Monday, June 26, 2023. She was born on Saturday, September 7, 1946 in Wadsworth, Ohio to the late Oscar and Mae (Ault) Mellott and lived in the Norton area most of her life. Linda enjoyed crafts, painting, art, scrapbooking and gardening.

Linda was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Gentry; and brother, Ronnie Mellott. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, John; daughter, Kathy (Andrew) Lucas; son, John Woodward; grandchildren, Megan (Casey) Allen, Makenzie Brader; great-grandchildren, Aiden, Parker; sisters, Robin (Dean) Sands, Pat (Butch) Scalesi; brother, Larry (Judy) Mellott; niece, Taylor (Andrew) Scogin; and many other loving family and friends.

The family will greet friends at Bacher-Moore Funeral Home, 3250 Greenwich Rd., Norton, OH on Thursday, July 6, 2023 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., with a funeral service following at 12 p.m. 

Linda's final resting place will be Western Star Cemetery in Norton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cleveland Clinic Akron General Justin T. Rogers Hospice Care Center, 3358 Ridgewood Rd., Fairlawn, OH 44333,in memory of Linda S. Woodward.
