Livia E. Parisi, 91, loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2022.
Livia was born in Carovilli, Italy to the late Giuseppi and Angela (Parisi) Falasca and lived in Akron since 1955. She was a faithful member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and worked as a seamstress for over 30 years. She loved to cook, especially around the holidays. She was thrilled to spend time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Livia is preceded in death by her loving husband whom she adored, Lorenzo Parisi; brothers, Adolpho (Bambina) Falasca and Pio (Beata) Falasca; sister, Lucia (Eranio) Conti; sister-in-law, Iolanda Parisi; and brother-in-law, Dante Parisi. She is survived by children, Delia (Robert) Howard, and Vincent (Karen) and Joe (Vicki) Parisi; grandchildren, Michael (Katrina), Christopher, Joey (Micah), and Sara; great-grandchildren, Sophie and Jace; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, 10:30 am at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 83 Mosser Place, Akron, Ohio 44310 with Rev. Father Edward Burba, Celebrant. Visitation will be Friday, April 8, 2022, 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Hennessy-Bagnoli-Moore Funeral Home (corner of N. Main St. and Mildred Ave.). Livia's final resting place will be Holy Cross Cemetery.
The Parisi Family would like to extend a very special thank you to Dr. Themos Politis, nurses, Kris and Ashley and the entire staff on 5 North at Akron City Hospital for all of their loving care.
