Lloyd George Swart

Lloyd George Swart, 79, loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away Friday, March 17, 2023.
 
George was born Tuesday, November 2, 1943 to the late Lloyd and Garnet (Coffman) Swart. After retiring from the US Postal Service, he decided retirement wasn't for him and went to work at Buehler's, where he enjoyed keeping busy and visiting with people. George served in the US Air Force for six years. He enjoyed collecting anything that featured an eagle. George loved travelling and spending time with his family and made many trips down to North Carolina to visit his grandchildren.
 
George was preceded in death by his loving wife, Shirley (Brady) Swart, brother Bud and sister Anita. He is survived by his son, Christopher (Dawn) Swart, ex-wife Connie Huffman, Shirley's children Caryl-Lyn (Ellis) Kennedy and Brian (Tammie) Brady, seven grandchildren, brother, Allen (Karen) Swart; and many other loving nieces, nephews and friends.
 
Visitation will be Saturday, March 25, 2023, 12:00-1:00 p.m., service following, at Bacher-Moore Funeral Home, 3250 Greenwich Road, Norton, Ohio 44203. Private internment will take place following the service at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Seville, Ohio.
