Marjorie Evelyn Jenkins

Marjorie Evelyn Jenkins was born on Oct. 31, 1927 in Akron, Ohio. She went home to be with the Lord on April 19, 2023.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Vernon Wesley Jenkins; parents, William Ellsworth Selzer and Beatrice Lillian Snader Selzer.
She is survived by her two children, Rebecca (Gary) Newport of Memphis, TN, and David (Karen) Jenkins of Mogadore, OH; three grandchildren whom she loved dearly, Stephen Newport of Memphis, TN, Rachel (Bradley) Brown of Germantown, TN, and Jonathan (Sherri) Newport of Arlington, TN; and three great-grandchildren, Caleb Brown of Germantown, TN, Peyton Kirk and Sloane Elise Newport of Arlington, TN. She is also survived by her sister, Beverly (Bob) Bostic and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be Monday, 11:00 am  with visitation ONE HOUR PRIOR TO SERVICE TIME at the Bacher-Moore Funeral Home, 3326 Manchester Rd, Akron, OH 44319.  Marjorie's final resting place will be Lakewood Cemetery.
