Marjorie A. Vance

Marjorie A. Vance, 88, passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2024. She was born on Tuesday, November 26, 1935 in Akron, Ohio to the late John Sr. and Estelle (Thornton) Stone. Marge was a faithful member of Community Church of Portage Lakes and enjoyed watching sports, especially watching her daughters and grandchildren play.

Marge was preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, Richard Vance, and sister, Norma Barton.  She is survived by her daughters, Cheryl (Dave) Nash, Dani (Stephen) Crookston, Renee (Greg) Richardson; grandchildren, Aaron (Jen) Nash, Kevin Nash, Cara (Dylan) Palidar, Kim Crookston, Laura (Sam) Shue, Tom Crookston, Jessie Crookston, Ashley Richardson, Katie (Jake) Zollinger; great-grandchildren, Luke Nash, Harper Palidar; brother, John L. (Cindy) Stone Jr.; special nephew, Eric Stone; and many other loving family and friends.

The family will greet friends on Monday, February 19, 2024 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Community Church of Portage Lakes, 3260 Cormany Rd., Coventry Township, OH 44319, followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.

The family would like to thank Traditions Hospice, especially Ashlie, Kati, and Pat for their excellent care of Marjorie.
