Mary Madalene Gowin

Mary Madalene Gowin, 92, passed away June 21, 2007 in Raleigh, NC. Born in Wyatt, WV to the late Joseph and Amy (Mason) Kerns on June 22, 1914, Mary lived in the North Hill area most of her life. She was also a past member of North Hill Methodist Church. Along with her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Harold. She is survived by her daughters, Betty Souers of Cuyahoga Falls, Barbara (Joseph) Holbert of Carrolton, OH and Bonnie (John) Moses of Henniger, AL; sons, Larry (Pauline) Gowin of Barberton and Butch Gowin of FL; 27 grandchildren and over 34 great-grandchildren; numerous great-great grandchildren and many other loving family and friends. Funeral services will be Monday, 11:00 am at HENNESSY-BAGNOLI FUNERAL HOME, 936 N. MAIN ST., AKRON. Visitation will be Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Mary's final resting place will be Crown Hill Cemetery.
