Mary Anne Mitchell

Mary Anne Mitchell, 65, passed away unexpectedly on January 8, 2022. Mary was born on September 30, 1956 to Phyllis and Benjamin Gallaher. She was the middle child out of five children and one of two daughters. As a young lady Mary realized she had a green thumb and with that came her love for gardening. She also enjoyed buying and selling antiques. And one of her favorite things to do was running her backhoe. She also had two dogs that she adored, Little Bear and Annie. Mary married the love of her life 35 years ago and ultimately, Mary's treasured achievements in life came when she became a mother and then later on a grandmother and great grandmother. Mary enjoyed her family and the happiness that they brought to her daily.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin and Phyllis Gallaher; and grandson, Colin Williams. She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Michael; her children Jamie Hopkins, Michael Mitchell, and Mikel Mitchell; 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; her 4 siblings; and countless others who loved her. Mary's memory will forever live in all those that she loved and those who had the honor of loving her.

The family will have a celebration of life at a later date. Goodbyes are not forever, goodbyes are not the end. They simply mean I'll miss you until we meet again.
