Mary Glenita Snodgrass

Mary Glenita Snodgrass, 78, passed away on April 5, 2021. She was born in Varney, WV on May 30, 1942 to the late Troy and Bernice Christian. Glenita worked for Lowe’s and was a member of Midway Baptist Church, in Lafollette, TN. She enjoyed cooking, scrapbooking, southern gospel music and loved her grandchildren.

Glenita was preceded in death by her sisters, Alice Faye, Bendetta Christian, Brenda Green, Cheryl Fritz; and brother, Kevin Christian.

She is survived by her husband of 22 years, James; daughters, Deborah (Aristotle) Zournas, Donna (Don) George; step-son, Donald (Stephanie) Snodgrass; grandchildren, Ashley, Andrew, Aaron George and Thomas Zournas; brothers, Marvin (Louise) Christian, Rick (Marie) Christian, Randy (Cindy) Christian; and sister, Sandra Scott (Greg Stropkey); and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at Bacher Funeral Home, 3326 Manchester Rd., Akron 44319 on Thursday, April 8, 2021 from 5 to 7 p.m. Private services will be held. Inurnment at Crown Hill Cemetery in Orville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Midway Baptist Church, PO Box 144, Lafollette, TN 37766, in memory of Glenita Snodgrass.
