Michael A. Donataccio

CUYAHOGA FALLS-Michael A. Donataccio, 92, passed away Nov. 12, 2006. Born in Akron on June 27, 1914 to the late Anthony and Angelina (Sassano) Donataccio, Michael lived in the Akron and Cuyahoga Falls areas most of his life. He was a faithful member of St. Joseph Church and worked for Conrail for 40 years retiring in 1976. He also was a member of the K of C Lodge 2362 where he served as their financial secretary for 10 years and was their Man of the Year in 1980. Along with his parents, Michael is preceded in death by his wife, Helen; grandson, Joseph Mark Donataccio; and great-grandson, Anthony Jacob Fargo. He is survived by his children, Angela Fargo, "Don" Anthony M. Donataccio and Michael D. (Missy) Donataccio; 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and many other nieces, nephews and cousins. Special thanks to the two west staff at Cuyahoga Falls General Hospital. Mass of Christian burial for Michael and his sister Rachel Nido (Donataccio) will be held in concurrence on Friday, 9:45 am at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 1761 2nd St., Cuyahoga Falls. Their visitation will be Thursday from 4 to 8 pm at HENNESSY-BAGNOLI FUNERAL HOME, 936 N. MAIN ST., AKRON Michael's final resting place will be Northlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church.
