Nadin N. Aldridge

Nadine N. Aldridge, 90, a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away at home Jan. 2, 2007. Born in Canton on July 10, 1916 to the late Mathias and Bertha (Koelble) Balzer, Nadine has lived in the Akron area most of her life. She was a member of St. Vincent Church and a 1934 graduate of Canton McKinley High School. Along with her parents, Nadine is preceded in death by her husband, Don; sister, Evelyn Pegg; and brother, Dale Balzer. She is survived by her children, James Aldridge and Carol (Robert) Steiner; grandchildren, Gio (April) Patti, Marisa (Eric) Martin and Pete Steiner; great-grandchildren, Megan, Alex and Nate; brother, Richard Balzer; and many loving friends. Funeral service will be Saturday, 10:00 am at HENNESSY-BAGNOLI FUNERAL HOME, 936 N. MAIN ST., AKRON with Rev. Father Joseph H. Kraker officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 4 to 7 pm at the funeral home. Nadine's final resting place will be Chestnut Hill Memorial Park.
