Patricia I. Harper

Patricia I. Harper, 83, devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and Christian, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2023, after a long and full life.

Patricia was born December 20, 1939, to the late Edwin and Sarah (Baxter) Dazey and was a lifelong Akron resident.

She worked at Goodyear Aerospace and volunteered at Akron City Hospital and Springfield Presbyterian Church. She loved spending time with family and friends and traveling the country. She was cherished by all and will be missed terribly.

In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Harper; brother, Bob Dazey; sons, James and Jeffery Harper; and son-in-law, Donald McCune. She is survived by her daughter, Debbie McCune; son, Jerry (Bridget) Harper; grandchildren, April (Isaac), Justine (Jason), Ryan, Justin, and Abigail; great-grandchildren, Rylee, McKenna, Sarah, Elijah, and Korbin; brother, Bill (Marge) Dazey; sister, Sandy (Tom) Beckwith (Ventrone); daughter-in-law, Lorna "Bonnie" Harper, and many other loving family and friends.

Funeral Service will be 4:00 pm, Friday, February 17, 2023, at Hennessy-Bagnoli-Moore Funeral Home, 936 North Main Street, Akron, Ohio 44310, (corner of N. Main St. and Mildred Ave,) with Rev. Patricia Moats officiating.  Visitation will be Friday, 2 HOURS PRIOR to service time (2:00 pm - 4:00 pm) at the funeral home.
