Paul J. Wentz

Paul J. Wentz, 84, loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away Sunday, May 8, 2022 surrounded by his family.

Paul was born Saturday, October 30, 1937 to the late John and Erma (Jacobs) Wentz and lived in the Brunswick area most of his life. He worked for GM for 30 years until his retirement in 1989.  He was a faithful member of Brunswick United Methodist Church.  He loved golf, riding motorcycles, camping, mowing the lawn but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family; especially his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Paul is preceded in death by his grandson, Matthew Hudson; and brother, Tommy Wentz.  He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Deanna; sons, Jack (Debbie) and Greg (Jodi) Wentz; daughter, Paula (Jeff) Peters; grandsons, Jeff (Chelsea) Wentz and Michael (Mackenzie) Peters; granddaughters, Jenny (Tom) Wolff and Jackie (Brad) Enlow; great-grandchildren, Colby, Grant, Trudy, Tanner, Kodie, Reese, Rory, Carson, Owen, Oskar, and Juniper; brother, Daniel Wentz; sisters, Dorothy Speigle, and Jean (Roy) Ogburn; and many other loving family and friends.

Funeral Service will be 11:00 am, Friday, May 13, 2022 at Brunswick United Methodist Church, with Pastor Thomas Shaw officiating.  Visitation will be Thursday, May 12, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Friday, May 13, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the church.  Paul 's final resting place will be Eastlawn Memory Gardens. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Brunswick United Methodist Church, Hospice of the Western Reserve of Medina or a charity of one's choice in Paul's name
