Priscilla Esposito, 100, passed away January 3, 2009. Born in Bari, Italy to the late Nicolo and Domenica (Padua) Violante, Priscilla came to The United States in 1922. Priscilla was a specially loving person. She had many friends in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, which she was a faithful member, the Friendly Club, Leaf and Blossom Garden Club and the Garden Club of Ohio. Along with her parents, Priscilla is preceded in death by her husband, James; son-in-law John Modugno and uncle and aunt, Pete and Mary Violante. She is survived by her daughter, Marie Modugno, grandchildren, Michael Modugno and Carmela (Jon) Hapanowicz; great-grandchildren, Adrienne, Elise, Owen and Grace; special family, Dr. Leonard (Diane) Modugno and Gary Reams; and many other loving family and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, 11:00 am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 1905 Portage Trail in Cuyahoga Falls. Visitation will be Monday from 2 to 5 pm at HENNESSY-BAGNOLI FUNERAL HOME, 936 N. MAIN ST., AKRON. Priscilla's final resting place will be Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Care Center and Visiting Nurse Service, 3358 Ridgewood Road, Akron, Ohio 44333.
