CUYAHOGA FALLS- Rachel Nido (Donataccio) "NONNIE", 91, passed away Nov. 12, 2006. Born in Cleveland on Aug. 28, 1915 to the late Anthony and Angelina (Sassano) Donataccio, Rachel lived in Elwood City, PA and returned to Akron where she has lived most of her life. Along with her parents, Rachel is preceded in death by her husband John; brothers, Angelo and Johnny; sister, Victoria; and nephew Pete Vitto. She is survived by special twin nieces, Donna (Nick) Zurzolo and Rose (Jim) Knee; also Phil (Al) Scarpetti, Angeline Clawson and Celeste (Honey) Weller of PA. She is "Nonnie" to Thomas Zurzolo, Vicki (Zurzolo) Barba, Jim Knee, and twin sisters, Lori Roberts and Lisa Owens; 7 grandchildren; and many other nieces, nephews and cousins. Special thanks to the staff at Falls Village and Harbor Lights Hospice for all their tender loving care and support. Mass of Christian burial for Rachel and her brother Michael Donataccio will be held in concurrence on Friday, 9:45 am at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 1761 2nd St., Cuyahoga Falls. Their visitation will be Thursday from 4 to 8 pm at HENNESSY-BAGNOLI FUNERAL HOME, 936 N. MAIN ST., AKRON Rachel's final resting place will be Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church.
