Reba Frankovic, 89, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2023, after a prolonged illness.

Reba was born Saturday, August 5, 1933 to the late Gilbert and Marie (Walsh) Shaffer and lived in the Cuyahoga Falls area most of her life. She was employed as a chef at various country clubs and owned her own restaurant and catering company. Reba was a faithful member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was an active volunteer at the Firestone Post 3383 VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Reba enjoyed reading, watching movies and musical theatre, and listening to music.

In addition to her parents, Reba was preceded in death by her daughter, Julia E. Brannan, grandchild, William E. Brannan, sister, Mary Kathryn, brothers, Charles, Ben, and Gilbert. She is survived by her loving husband, Edward Frankovic; son, Michael (Maureen) Shaffer; grandchildren, Robert Brannan, Michael (Lacy) Shaffer, Jaime (Ryan) Riley; brother, Bob (Donna) Shaffer; and many other loving great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral Service will be 12:00 pm, Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Hennessy-Bagnoli-Moore Funeral Home, 936 North Main Street, Akron, Ohio 44310, with Fr. David McCarthy Officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, March 4, 2023, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at the Funeral Home. Reba's final resting place will be Holy Cross Cemetery.
