Rebecca M. Scarito

Rebecca M. Scarito, 70, passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2022. She was born on Sunday, August 24, 1952 in Akron, Ohio to the late John and Dorothy (Beck) Haag. Becky was a faithful member of St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church and was a Eucharistic Minister and Lector. Becky advocated the importance of family, faith and prayer.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Joseph Haag, Timothy Haag, and Kevin Haag.  She is survived by her husband of 50 years, John Scarito; daughters, Denean (Michael) Davis, Jennifer (Robert) Hopkins; son, John D. (Kristal) Scarito; grandchildren, Andrew (Taylor), Adam, Hannah, Abigail, Nathan, Jace, Stella: brothers, Thomas Haag, Daniel Haag, William Haag, John C. (Staci) Haag, Patrick (Lori) Haag; sisters, Diane Hester, Peggy Smythe, Regina (James) McDonald, Christine Haag; and many other loving family and friends.

The family will greet friends at Bacher Moore Funeral Home, 3250 Greenwich Rd., Norton, OH on  Monday, December 12, 2022 from 6 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, 4022 Johnson Rd., Norton, OH 44203 on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at 10 a.m. Rebecca's final resting place will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville, Ohio.  If desired, donations may be made to St. Andrew's Church, in memory of Rebecca Scarito.
