Reva "Jean" Shields

Reva Jean Shields, 86, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Wednesday, December 29, 2021.

Reva was born on Thursday, October 31, 1935, in Webster Springs, W.V. to the late Earl and Gwendolyn (Demastas) Atkins. Reva lived most of her life in Ohio, specifically Akron, East Liverpool, Barberton, Wadsworth, and several years were also spent living in New Jersey. She was a longtime, faithful member and servant of Emmanuel Christian Assembly. She lived her life with great strength and conviction. She especially loved time spent with family, friends, listening to music, decorating, and shopping.

Along with her parents, Reva is preceded in death by her husband, Harry Knute Shields; brother, Bob Atkins; sisters, Ruth Wike and Judy Ferlaino. She is survived by her daughter, Terri (Gary Nesbitt) Shields; her son, Daniel (Anna) Shields; granddaughter, Kristen (Brian) Farnsworth; great-grandchildren, Levi and Luke Farnsworth; sister, Nancy (Ted) McKinney; brothers-in-law, Ward Wike and John Ferlaino; and many other loving family and friends.

Reva’s graveside service will be PRIVATE. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Emmanuel Christian Assembly at 925 West Hopocan Avenue, Barberton, Ohio 44203 or the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
