Richard T. White

Richard T. White, 87, loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away Saturday, March 19, 2022.
Richard was born on Thursday, July 12, 1934 in Akron, Ohio to the late Richard and Leona (Orndorff) White and lived in the Norton area most of his life. As a good, Christian man, he was a faithful member of the Freewill Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening.  The highlight of his life was spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 
Along with his parents, Richard is preceded in death by his 8 brothers and sisters.  He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Harriet; son, Dale Thomas (Anna) White; daughters, Theresa King and Kimberly (Richard) Kleman; grandchildren, Jeffery (Amanda) White, Sarah (Nathan) Sterling, Nikki Shook, Aaron (Lena) King, Jeremy (Firouz) King, Nathan (Brianne) King, Michael Kleman, and Daniel (Stephanie) Kleman; 17 great-grandchildren; sister, Ellen Atkinson; and many other loving family and friends.
Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm, Friday, March 25, 2022 at Bacher-Moore Funeral Home, 3250 Greenwich Road, Norton, Ohio 44203. Visitation will be Friday from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the funeral home.  Richard's final resting place will be Greenlawn Memorial Park in Akron, Ohio.
