Robert Lee Coleman

Robert Lee Coleman lived every day as if it were his last. He spent 68 years of his life making others happy and doing the same for himself. Bobby's life was filled with many blessings.

Jesus was a part of Bobby's life. He joined his parents in heaven on August15,2018 and will be waiting there for the rest of us to join him.

June and Joseph Coleman, married 50 years, always took pride in everything their son accomplished.  They would have wanted you to know that Bob worked for over 40 years in the Summit DD Sheltered Workshops, attended Camp Christopher for 32 years, rode 270,000 documented miles on his bikes, was an avid fitness walker, went bowling every Saturday morning for 36 years, and was a huge Cleveland Indians, Browns, and Cavs fan. His awareness of the moon and its whereabouts kept us all amazed. He loved Diet Coke, Cappuccino, and Decaf coffee, Barberton Chicken, cole slaw, green jello, butterscotch pie and chocolate cream sticks.

He loved to talk and was quick to make a new friend. He earned numerous bowling trophies and loved miniature golf. He loved watching TV and listening to the radio.  He was a very good neighbor to older residents in his Waterloo Road neighborhood, shoveling snow and raking leaves for them.

Bob taught his friends to not take ourselves too seriously, laugh at our mistakes, and that everyone has something to offer this world.

Bobby would want us to mention those who have made his life special. A special thanks to longtime friends Carolyn, Jeff, Eric and Brian, Beverly, Cynthia, Marie, Sara and Cindy and his friends at PortageLakes St. Luke's Community and Great Lakes Hospice.
Bob will be laid to rest in between his parents at Greenlawn Memorial Park. We will miss you, Bobby, our lives will never be the same without you. Memorial donations may be sent to Camp Christopher for Special Needs Cabins.
