Roger A Trego, 68, of Akron passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Nov. 28, 2007 after a courageous fight with cancer. Roger was born Aug. 8, 1939 in Chillicothe, OH. He retired from Magnetek in 2000 with 38 years of service. In his free time, Roger was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed the many visits of his family and friends to his "GARAGE". The "GARAGE" made it very clear to all who entered that he was Dale Earnhardt's #1 fan! Roger is preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Wilma Trego; sister, Patti Thomas; and brother, Daniel "Danny" Trego. He is survived by his wife and soul mate of 49 years, Judy Trego; sons and daughters-in-law, Rick and Melissa Trego, Ken and Vicki Trego, Roger "Spike" and Julie Trego and Kevin and Cindy Trego; brother, Bill Trego; sister, Joanne (Wayne) Stahl; sister-in-law, Joanne Trego and brother-in-law, Wilborn (Millie) Thomas; grandchildren, Melissa, Joe, Michael, Gina, Adam, Morgan, Sam, Ryan, and Anthony Trego; many loving nieces and nephews (especially) Donny and Jeff Trego, Cheri Prough, Ron and Peggy Whitecotton, and Amy and Scott Taylor; and special friends, Dave and Joni Skinner, Bobby Neiger, Max Sabatina and Larry Hoffman. The family would like to express their gratitude to the many doctors and nurses in the ICU and on the third floor at Cuyahoga Falls General Hospital for all of their kindness. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, 9:30 am at Christ the King Church, 1584 Creighton Ave., Akron. Visitation will be Sunday from 5 to 8 pm at HENNESSY-BAGNOLI FUNERAL HOME, 936 N. MAIN ST., AKRON. Roger's final resting place will be St. Joseph Cemetery in Randolph. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christ the King Church.
