Ron was preceded in death by his parents Keith and Esther Messner. He is survived by his loving wife Julia of 49 years; children, Amy (Jason) Saragian, Timothy Messner; grandchildren, Isaac and Ian Messner, Liam Saragian; brothers, Lowell Messner, Tom (Kathleen) Messner.

Friends may call at Bacher-Moore Funeral Home-Norton, 3250 Greenwich Rd. on Friday, April 30, 2021 from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Grace Church-Norton, 3970 S. During the Dr. Johnson and Rick Pakel era at Malone Ron and I experienced so many blessed opportunities in service to the Lord at Malone. I will always hold dear his friendship. Ron was respected and admired by all who truly knew him. Joy and I will miss him and pray for Julia and his family.

To The Messner Family: Ron was a great guy. I had the honor and privilege to work with Ron for a few years before I retired. Deepest condolences! Your family is in my prayers. May God comfort you today and in the days ahead.

Ron was a wonderful person and a great person to work for. He always had time to lend a hand or a story to get you through whatever was troubling you. Our trips to work seminars were always like traveling with a friend rather than a boss. He taught me many things that will stay with me the rest of my life. Thank You Ron for all you did for not only me but everyone's life you touched, you will be missed dearly.

Julia and Family,
Ron played a key role in Malone's resurgence and success in the 1990's. He was a man of faith and family. He exhibited the highest integrity and genuinely cared for others. His positive outlook and ready smile were an encouragement to me. I will miss my friend.
