Rose B. Piazza

Rose B. Piazza, 99, passed away Dec. 13, 2007. Born in Brooklyn, NY on Nov. 15, 1908 to the late Salvatore and Angelina (Libasci) Piazza, Rose lived in the Akron area most of her life. She was a faithful member of St. Vincent Church, charter member of the Tire Town Chapter of IAAP, Woman's City Club and the Alter and Rosary Societies of St. Vincent Church. Along with her parents, Rose is preceded in death by her brothers, Joseph and Peter Piazza; and sisters, Mary Piazza, Josephine Piazza, Frances Piazza-Tauring and Jennie Cookro. She is survived by her sister, Adeline Muccino; brother, Anthony Piazza; and many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, 10:00 am at St. Vincent Church, 164 W. Market St., Akron. Visitation will be Thursday from 8:30am to 9:30am at HENNESSY-BAGNOLI FUNERAL HOME, 936 N. MAIN ST., AKRON. Rose's final resting place will be Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Vincent Church.
