Roy Edward Riggar, Jr. age 61, born Thursday, August 21, 1958 passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2019.  Roy resided in Northfield, OH, and spent his final days surrounded by loved ones.

Roy spent parts of his childhood in West Virginia and Ohio, eventually settling in Northeast, Ohio.  He was a gifted salesman and became very respected in the industry before retiring in 2016.

Roy was a lifelong Cleveland sports and Buckeyes fan and an avid bowler.  Above all else, he loved his family.  He was incredibly proud of his children and worked hard all his entire life to provide for his daughters and wife.  His six grandchildren brought him great joy.

Roy is forever grateful to his “Angel”, Lynn Donnan who, feeling led by God, anonymously donated her kidney to him in October, 2010.

Roy is survived by is his dear wife, Debra; daughters, Michelle (Stephen) Sheets of Pittstown, NJ and Heather (Kevin) Naylor of Simpsonville, SC; six grandchildren, Henry, Kyla, George, Logan, Arthur, and Lexa; sister, Debbie Galasky; step-sister, Laura (Dave) Nethken; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gene and Virginia Muth; brothers-in-law, Terry (Maureen Greene), Steve (Donna), Michael, and Mark (Ashley) Muth; sister-in-law, Pammy (Gregg) Phillips; and many nieces, nephews, many whom were like children to him.

Roy is preceded in death by Roy Riggar, Sr. and Nancy Donley; step-mother, Karen Riggar; and sister, Brenda Albright.

Relatives and friends may visit Tuesday, October 15, 2019, from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm at Christ Community Chapel 750 West Streetsboro Street, Hudson, Ohio 44236.  A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will follow at 4:00 pm.
