Ruth Lucille Schmotzer

Ruth Lucille Schmotzer, 85, of Slidell, Louisiana, died Tuesday, January 16, 2007 following a short illness. Mrs. Schmotzer was born on May 31, 1921 in Michigan. She was the daughter of George and Bessie (Bailey) Worth. In 1945 she married Joseph Frank Schmotzer, Jr. of Youngstown, Ohio. They made their home in Ohiofor many years. Mrs. Schmotzer was known for kindness to others, and everywhere she lived she volunteered her time at the local hospital. She attended UnitedMethodistChurchin Slidell, Louisiana. She is survived by her husband, Joseph Frank Schmotzer, Jr., her daughter, Connie Schmotzer Fletcher of Maine,and one granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her son, Gary Frank Schmotzer. A graveside service will be held at the OakwoodCemeteryin Cuyahoga Falls, Ohioon Friday, February 23, 2007 at 3 p.m.
