Samuel F. Magill

Samuel F. Magill, 55, passed away unexpectedly Friday, February 11, 2022.  He was born on March 30, 1966 in Barberton, Ohio to the late Bradley and Norma (Martinson) Magill. 

He is survived by many family members and friends who loved him dearly. 

Sammy never met a stranger.  He touched the lives of everyone he met. He was always out and about riding his bike visiting with everyone in town.  He was a legend in the Portage Lakes and Barberton areas.  He loved playing Uno with his nieces, nephews, and cousins.  There wasn’t a date or important event that he ever forgot, even without “The Book”.  He loved his Chicken and hot sauce and always had to have his corner piece of cake.  He was torn between his love for the Coventry Comets and the Green Bulldogs.  He never missed a home event.  Sam was an avid Pittsburg Steelers and Michigan Wolverines fan.  Sammy never hesitated to show his pride for our country, the military and civil service workers.

The family will receive friends on February 19, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Bacher-Moore funeral home, 3326 Manchester Rd, Akron, OH 44319, followed by a Memorial Service at 12:00 PM.  Interment will be held at Lockwood cemetery.  Services will be performed by Pastor Jack Kozak (Hope Lutheran Church).
