Sandra Marie Panella (Dearmitt), 47, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 12, 2007, after a courageous battle with cancer. Her constant strength and compassion for life guided her through this most difficult journey. Sandy was a true hero to those that came to know her and admired by many for her positive outlook on life. Sandy found her main purpose in life was to take care of her family, whom she loved, everyday without reservation. Throughout these trying years, Sandy conducted herself, as she had her entire life, with grace and dignity. Her passion to live each day to its fullest, not only as a great mother but a true friend to her children, was a reflection of her commitment and determination for life. Sandy has left us with the memory of her smile, the hope of living and the courage to move forward. We pray for wisdom and strength as we now take each day one step closer to healing. Sandy is survived by her best friend and husband of 23 years, Anthony, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; daughter, Erika and son, Danny; mother and father, Jack and Edna Dearmitt; brother, Tim Dearmitt; sister, Pamela (John) Donatelli; brother-in-law, Randy Keen; sister-in-law, Deborah (John) Dvorak; mother-in-law, Lillian (Don) Modena; father-in-law, Daniel (Nancye) Panella; and many uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.
