Shawn G. Carneal, 53, loving Son, Father, and Grandfather, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2023.

Shawn was born Monday, September 15, 1969 to Edward and Millie (Thayer) Carneal and lived in the Clinton area most of his life. He loved scrapping and antiquing, always saw the treasure in what others threw away. Shawn loved spending time with his family and friends at the family cabin in West Virginia.

Shawn was preceded in death by his grandparents, Pauline and Earl Thayer, Clara Cox and Bland Carneal.  He is survived by his parents, Millie and Edward Carneal; sons, Brady Carneal, Cody (Brittany) Roush; daughter, Cecelia Carneal; brother, Tim Carneal; sister, Tara Loya; grandchildren, Isabella, Chloe, Lucas, Teagan, Tevin, Taelynn; nephews, Tyler, Conner, Noah, Oliver, Mason, Gabriel; nieces, McCall and Madison; as well as many other loving family and friends.

Funeral Service will be 12:00 pm, Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Bacher-Moore Funeral Home (Norton), 3250 Greenwich Road, Norton, Ohio 44203, with Pastor Bob Combs Officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, January 14, 2023, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at the funeral home.
