Sherman "Art" Arthur Crilow Sr.

Sherman Arthur Crilow Sr. "Art", a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, was called home to Heaven on July 7, 2023.

Art was born Tuesday, June 8, 1943 to the late Daniel and Margaret (Leadbetter) Crilow and lived in the Barberton area most of his life. Art had just celebrated his 80th birthday and his 56th wedding anniversary to his loving wife Arlene. They were both members of Ridgewood Baptist Church. Art was known for his love of Jesus, family and friends, his outgoing nature, and jokes.

In addition to his parents, Art was preceded in death by his brother, Dennis Crilow, sister, Nancy Whytsell.  He is survived by his wife, Arlene Crilow; daughter, Christina (Craig) Cornell; son, Sherman (Cassandra) Crilow Jr.; grandchildren, Caleb Cornell, Joshua Cornell, Morgan Crilow; brothers, Dean (Cyndi) Crilow, David (Valerie) Crilow; sister, Marcia (Dave) Gerber; sister-in-law, Kathy (Bill) Greene; brother-in-law, Ernie Whytsell; and many other loving family and friends.

Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm, Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at Bacher-Moore Funeral Home (Norton), 3250 Greenwich Road, Norton, Ohio 44203, with Pastor Tom Murrell officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 11, 2023, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm & Wednesday, July 12, 2023, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Art's final resting place will be Greenlawn Memorial Park on Wednesday, July 12, 2023.
