Stacy Arlene Meier

Stacy Meier, 60, loving wife, sister, and aunt, passed away Thursday, December 21, 2023.

Stacy was born Tuesday, October 15, 1963 to the late Donald and Ruth (Recksiedler) Mellinger, grew up in Westlake, Ohio and then lived in the Akron area most of her life. She worked for the University of Akron as a Chemical Technician and Administrative Assistant for the Engineering Department. Stacy loved cooking, working in her garden and tending to her flowers, skiing, leatherworking, swimming in her pool, playing the piano, spending time with her cats, Pele and Kalahiki, and cheering on the Cleveland Browns. She never met a person that she couldn't make friends with, and will be missed by all.

In addition to her parents, Stacy was preceded in death by her sister, Wendy Grady, parents-in-law, Don and Donna Meier, sister-in-law, Shelley Roppolo. She is survived by her husband, David Meier; brother, Wayne (Amy) Mellinger; brothers-in-law, Matthew (Cindi) Meier, Dave Grady; sister-in-law, Renee Rohrey;  and many other loving nieces, nephews and friends.
