Stanley F. Jaroszewski

Stanley F. Jaroszewski, 102, passed away on Monday, March 21, 2022.

Stanley was born in Wheeling, WV on Friday, September 26, 1919 to the late Bruno and Katherine Jaroszewski and lived in Akron most of his life. He worked for General Tire retiring after 34 years of service.  He loved to polka and garden and was a faithful member of St. Hedwig Catholic Church.

In addition to his parents, Stanley is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Elizabeth of 68 years; brother, Henry (Irene) Jaroszewski, Sr. and 4 sisters and 2 brothers of Poland; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Walter (Jean) Samerdak and Helen (Cass) Srednicki; and niece, Eloise Srednicki.  He is survived by loving daughter, Teresa Jaroszewski; nieces and nephews, Henry (Laura) Jaroszewski, Jr., Peggy Falor, Mark Srednicki, David (Lori) Samerdak, and Diane (Dale) Vincent; great-niece, Julia Srednicki; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Agnes and Anton Samerdak; and many loving family members in Poland.

A special thank you to the aides, nurses, kitchen staff and other staff members of Cardinal Village for taking such good care of my dad and mom these last few years. Also, thank you to Grace Hospice for the compassion and care of my dad during his final days.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, 1:00 pm at Immaculate Heart of Mary, 1905 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223 with Rev. Father James Singler, Celebrant.  Visitation will be Friday, March 25, 2022, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at Hennessy-Bagnoli-Moore Funeral Home (corner of N. Main St. and Mildred Ave.).  Stanley's final resting place will be Holy Cross Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s or a charity of one’s choice.

One of the sweetest men I ever knew! We were neighbors for over 20 years. He always had a smile on his face. Our loss is Heaven's getting gain for sure. Theresa you have our deepest sympathy.
