Susan M. Considine

Susan M. Considine, 73, passed away Sunday, June 6, 2021.
Susan was born in Akron, Ohio on Oct. 21, 1947 to the late Thomas and Margaret (Allen) Considine and lived in the Akron area all of her life. She was a 1965 graduate of North High School.  She attended St. Martha Parish and worked as a nurse at St. Thomas Hospital. She loved to volunteer; helping at St. Martha School as the school nurse, fundraising with numerous veterans’ and Summit County organizations.  She was the sweetest soul who loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids and crocheting and playing Euchre and Poker.
     Along with her parents, Susan is preceded in death by her brother, Vincent Considine, sister-in-law, Patty Considine, beloved nephew, Brian Adrian.  She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer (James) Goforth; son, David (Jenelle) Considine; granddaughters, Faith (Sam) Goforth, Abigail Goforth, Hailey Considine, Chloe Smith, and Isabella VanMeter; grandson, Jimmy Goforth; sisters, Kathleen (John) Treglia, Mary Ann (Mike) Crawford, Betsy Adrian, Anne, Eileen, and Ruth Considine, and Rose Steiger;  brothers, Timothy (Judy), Michael (Linda), and Tom (Jeannie) Considine; aunt, Eleanor Allen; uncle, James Allen; and many other loving family and friends.
     Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 am, Friday, June 11, 2021 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 164 West Market Street, Akron, Ohio 44303. Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Hennessy-Bagnoli-Moore Funeral Home, 936 N, Main St., Akron, Ohio 44310 (corner of N. Main St. and Mildred Ave.).  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Harry Donovan Jr. Valor Home of Summit County at fcsserves.org.
