Teddy Helton Sr.

Teddy Helton Sr., 79, passed away at Falls Village Nursing Home January 30, 2007. Born in Akron, OH, Teddy retired from Firestone Tire and Rubber Co. in 1981 after 29 years of service and was a Veteran of World War II guarding Gen. Eisenhower. Teddy had been a member of the VFW Ralph Huff Post 106, American Legion, Charles Faust Post 281, the Eagles of Cuyahoga Falls Italian-American Citizen Club of Cuyahoga Falls. Teddy is preceded in death by his parents James and Maude (Murel) Helton. Teddy leaves behind his loving wife of 55 years Elaine M. Helton; sons, Teddy Jr. (Carol) and Gary (Sharon); daughters, Dianne (Bob) McArthur and Donna (Mike) Musci; grandchildren, Teddy III, Kimberly, Kara, Gary II, Kevin, Robert, Drew, Leia, Michael, Carrie, Matthew and Dana; great-grandchildren, Teddy IV, Jacob, Nathan, Kayla, Christian, Anthony, Sierra, Julie, Dominick and Gary III. We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the staff and care givers at FallsVillageand Harbor Light Hospice. Cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation will be Saturday from 1 to 5 pm at HENNESSY-BAGNOLI FUNERAL HOME, 936 N. MAIN ST., AKRONwith prayers beginning at 4:30 pm.
