Terry L. Thomas

Terry Thomas, 72, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on August 5, 2019. He was born November 3, 1946 to the late Ray and Evelyn Thomas. He honorably served his country as a part of the Army Security Agency and was stationed in Sinop, Turkey and Fort Devens, Mass. Terry worked in IT for many years and eventually started his own home inspection business, Thomas Home Inspections Limited. He was a member of the NRA and was an active member of Grace Church in Norton.  

Terry is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Lana; brother, Ronnie (Carol) Thomas and family; sister, Janice Wix and family; sister-in-law, Carol (Paul) Skuban; nephews, Chris and Paul Jr. (Connie) Skuban; and grand-niece, Amanda. Terry was a kind and gentle man who will be missed by all who loved him.

A public gathering of family and friends will be held at Bacher Funeral Home, 3250 Greenwich Rd., Norton, on Thursday, August 8, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, August 9, 2019 beginning at 11:00 AM with Pastor Bob Combs officiating. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park.

The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to their dear friends: Pastor Bob Combs, Diane & Bob Sypherd, JP & Pam Minard, and Dave & Lillian Snyder. Additional thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Akron City Hospital for their excellent care of Terry.
