Theresa M. Garden

Theresa M. Garden (nee Pukas), 93, passed away on March 23, 2021. She was born July 14, 1927 in Akron to Frank and Anna Pukas. She was a member of St. Francis de Sales Church. She enjoyed gardening and animals, especially her dogs.

Theresa was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 67 years, Hugh Garden. She is survived by her daughter, Linda (Jim) Confer; sons, John F. (Clarita) Garden and Jim Garden; grandchildren, Jennifer Grabiec and John P. (Jamie) Garden; and great-grandchildren, Johnny and Jordan Garden, Natalia and Milania Grabiec.

Friends may call at Bacher Funeral Home, 3326 Manchester Rd., Akron on Saturday, March 27, 2021 from 11 a.m. to 1p.m., Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Humane Society of Summit County, 7996 Darrow Rd., Twinsburg, OH 44087, in memory of Theresa.
