Theresa Margaret Kleidal

Theresa Margaret Kleidal, 94, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2023.

Theresa was born Wednesday, July 11, 1928 to the late Henry and Teresa (Pohner) Miller. She was born and raised in Akron, employed with Federman's Store and Saalfield Publishing Company, and lived in the Norton area most of her life, putting many years and numerous hours volunteering for the Norton Election Board and the Akron Hungarian American Club. Theresa was a faithful member of Grace United Church of Christ in Loyal Oak.  She loved Polka music, the Lawrence Welk Show, and the Cleveland Indians. Theresa also had a gift for painting ceramics, baking, sewing and needlework. She had a large number of family and friends who touched her heart throughout the years.

In addition to her parents, Theresa was preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, John Adam Kleidal, and the infant son they lost in 1955. She is survived by her daughters, Lisa (Ted) Weinsheimer, Cindy Ann (Andy) Beneze; grandchildren, Anneliese, Christian, Tyler, Kendall; sister, Sharon Ann (Dick) Jones, and many other loving family and friends.

A Funeral Service will be 11:00 am, Monday, March 20, 2023 at Bacher-Moore Funeral Home, 3250 Greenwich Road, Norton, Ohio 44203, with Pastor Kurt Weiser  Officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, March 19, 2023, 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Bacher-Moore Funeral Home. Theresa's final resting place will be Northlawn Memorial Gardens. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Akron Hungarian American Club, 694 East Waterloo Road, Akron, Ohio 44306, in memory of Theresa Kleidal.
