Velma (Dawson) Hall

It is with great sadness that the family of Velma (Dawson) Hall announce the passing of our devoted mother.  Velma was immediately and joyfully welcomed into Heaven on 1-13-2024.

She was preceded in death by Martin P. Hall, Sr., and daughter, Rita Jane Hall.  She is survived by her seven children, many grandchildren and friends.

Velma was born on January 11, 1925 in Widen, WV.  She was an LPN and retired from Barberton Citizens/Summa Hospital.

She surprised many loved ones with her intricate handmade afghans. She was a member of Barberton Church of Christ and will be greatly missed.  We look forward to God’s appointed time for our reunion. 

The family would like to thank Pleasant View Health Care Center and Elara Caring Hospice for their exceptional care and kindness.

It was her wish that there be no services. In honor of Velma’s memory, please consider a donation to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
