In Loving Memory of Vickie L. Fuerst
Vickie L. Fuerst, age 77, passed away on January 29, 2024. She was born in Akron on August 12, 1946, where she later raised her family. Vickie later moved to New Franklin where she enjoyed spoiling her dogs, gardening and watching birds. Vickie was an intelligent, hard working wife, mom, and friend who was known for her loud laugh, strong opinions, and unfiltered conversations. She was an extraordinary quilt maker and left behind beautiful works of art for her family. Vickie was an avid reader, had a love for fishing, and was an enthusiast of online gaming. She also showered love on her fur babies: Buddy, Beau, Shy, Winnie, and Lily.
Vickie is preceded in death by her daughter, Melissa. She is survived by her loving husband, Ronald Fuerst; they would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on February 2, 2024. She is also survived by her four children: Yvonne (Mike) Parziale, Paulette (Jerry) Maringo, Danielle (Ronald) Starkey, and Brian Fuerst. Vickie was also blessed with amazing grandchildren: Natalie, Jack, Olivia, Max, Joshua, Hannah, Abigail, Rebekah, Grace; and great grandchildren: Layla, Joey, Mikayla and Hadley.
Vickie will be deeply missed and remembered with love and gratitude for her endless hard work and raising a family against many adversities.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 9, 2024, from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM at Bacher-Moore Funeral Home, 3326 Manchester Road, Akron, Ohio 44319. Vickie's final resting place will at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
