Virginia Evaline Barnes

Virginia Barnes, 87, passed away June 6, 2009. Virginia was born in Waynesburg, PA to the late Percy and Ethel Spiker. She lived in the Akron and Cuyahoga Falls area most of her life and was a member of Brown Street Baptist Church. Along with her parents, Virginia is preceded in death by her husband, Ray. She is survived by son, Ray (Marleene) Barnes Jr.; daughter, Laurel Clelland; 5 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; sister Ruth Toomey; brother Clifford (Dreama) Spiker; and many other loving family and friends. Funeral service will be Thursday, 2:00 pm at Hennessy-Bagnoli Funeral Home, 936 N. Main Street, Akron, Ohio. Visitation will be TWO HOURS PRIOR to service time at the funeral home. Virginia's final resting place will be Oakwood Cemetery.
