Virginia Montez Clark

Virginia Montez Clark “Tez” was born August 3, 1933 and lived through July 15, 2019.

“It’s not the date of birth that’s important or the date of death, but the life lived in between.”

Virginia lived a life dedicated to her Lord, her family, and her community. She loved gardening, baking and reading her Bible. She had a generous heart and gave to all she knew. She will be greatly missed by all her family. She is now enjoying her heavenly home with her loving husband, Fred, for eternity.

“What a reunion when I meet the Lord Jesus Christ, my Savior, face to face, and loved ones who have gone on. My mom and dad, my husband, Fred Clark, sister, Sylvia Holbert, neice, Debbie Decker, nephew, Chuck Popio and other loved ones.

I leave behind my son, Rick Clark and wife, Maggie, their two sons, Steven and Matthew. Son, Michael Clark and wife, Elaine, their daughter, Amanda and her children, Aidan and Colin (great-grandchildren) and their son Adam, wife, Sara and their children, Carter and Kyle (great-grandchildren), my daughter Jeannie and husband, Ron and their children, Zachary and Bridgette. My sister, Gerry Popio and husband, Tony and their daughter, Mary.

My beloved daughter and precious grandson, Zachary were my prayer partners. They were always there to help in any way humanly possible. They gave me encouragement, comfort, peace of mind and joy until my departure. Also, my dear friend and sister-in-Christ, Evalena Starcher who was supportive and there for me in many special ways.

To my family and friends, please find comfort in the word of God. My address has now been changed from Earth to Heaven. My human remains will be at Greenlawn Cemetery to await the resurrection when I will be given a glorified body and be forever with the Lord and all those who have accepted His plan of Salvation.

No more death, no more pain, no sorrow, no tears. What a day that will be all praise, glory and honor to my Savior.”
