Virginia Mae Knox

Virginia Mae Knox (nee Swain), 96, went home to be with the Lord on September 18, 2018.  She was born April 6, 1922 in Norton, Ohio to Fred and Blanche Swain.  She was a 50 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star and was a loving homemaker and mother.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 57 years, Charles; baby daughter, Joyce Knox; brothers, Milford, Arthur, Ivan, and Melvin Swain; and sister, Edith Witschey.   She is survived by her sons, Roy Knox, Fred (Sheryl) Knox; sisters-in-law, Marian and Pearl Swain; 3 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.

Per Virginia’s wishes, cremation has taken place.  Inurnment will take place on Monday, September 24, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery in Wadsworth.
