Vivian Monica Abraham 12-20-1924 ~ 11-03-2009 Vivian was born and lived in Akron, OH all her life. She attended St. Mary Grade School and was a graduate of St, Mary High School. Vivian worked and retired from Firestone Tire and Rubber Co. Vivian was born with an inherent disability to put herself before others. In lieu of her own dreams, she cared for her disabled brother for 25 years. She enjoyed the simple life. She loved polka dancing and music, puzzles and her polish heritage. Although she never had children of her own, she always took care of her nieces and nephews and others. In the past few years of her life, although some of her mind began slipping away slowly, she could always make you smile with a look in her eye, the shrug of her shoulder or a few words that only someone who new her would understand. In the end she even lightened the lives of her hospice workers with her charm. On November 3, 2009 Vivian Monica Abraham passed away with dignity and in peace. God will be pleased with the path she chose. Vivian is preceded in death by her boy friend and life partner whom she will rest in peace with, Marion "Jar" Jarzenski; parents, Frances and Sophie Abraham; brothers, Victor (Anne), Vincent and Frances; sisters, Sylvia (Harry) and Grace (John); twin infant sisters; and nieces, nephews. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, 11:00 am at St. Mary Church, 750 S. Main St., Akron. Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 8 pm at HENNESSY-BAGNOLI FUNERAL HOME, 936 N. MAIN ST., AKRON. Vivian's final resting place will be Holy Cross Cemetery.
