W. John Heslep

W. John Heslep, 74, passed away July 26, 2009 in Chandler, AZ. John was born in Barberton, OH but has lived in AZ for the past 13 years. John retired from General Tire after 22 years and with Akron Standard after 10 years and was a professional Magician. He was a member of Clarence Mains VFW Post 1070, East Akron Eagles and a former member of the Adoniram Lodge #517 and Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite Valley of Akron. John is preceded in death by his parents, John Heslep and Martha Neri; and brother, Michael. He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Lois; children, Sheril, John L., and David H. Heslep; step-children, James N. Clark and Kim (Dennis Sr.) Beamer; grandchildren, John J. and Jaret; step-grandchildren, Christina, Carey, Meagan, and Dennis Jr.; step father, Alfred Neri; step-mother, Ann Heslep; sister, Asenath (Jack) Barker and Jacqueline (Mark) Guzy; and many other family and friends. Funeral service will be Monday, 2:00 pm at the HENNESSY-BAGNOLI FUNERAL HOME, 936 N. MAIN ST., AKRON. Visitation will be 1 HOUR PRIOR to service time on Monday. John's final resting place will be Lakewood Cemetery.
