Walter L. Rhoades Jr.

Walter L. Rhoades Jr, 72, passed away on November 12, 2021. He was born on October 8, 1949 to the late Walter and Betty (Jackson) Rhoades. Walter was raised in the Clinton and Green areas and presently resided in New Franklin. He had retired from the Burger Iron Steel Company.

Walter was preceded in death by his brothers, Thomas Rhoades, Charles Rhoades, Ronald Rhoades and David Rhoades.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Elizabeth J Rhoades (Davis); Michelle (Willie) Cahoon; grandson, Tristan Cahoon; sister, Linda Garrett; brother-in-law, James Davis; and numerous nieces, nephews, and dear family and friends.

The family wishes to express special thanks to Crossroads Hospice and his team of doctors for their special care given to Walter.

No services will be held. Cremation has taken place, due to his request.

In lieu of flowers, to honor Walter, the family asks for you to treat each other with kindness and love, especially to people on the Autism spectrum.
