Wanda June Walton

Wanda June Walton, 83, passed away Thursday, September 7, 2023. She was born on Wednesday, June 26, 1940 in Akron, Ohio to the late Carl Sr. and Leah (Schmid) Wagenknecht and grew up in Kenmore. She was a faithful member of Goss Memorial Church and enjoyed needlepoint, cross-stitch and coloring.

Wanda  was preceded in death by her husband, William W Walton; sons, Larry Walton and Baby Robert Walton; and brother, Carl "Bud" R. Wagenknecht, Jr.  

She is survived by her son, Steve (Tammy) Walton of NH; grandchildren, Briana, Julia, Bailey, Riley; great-grandchildren, Maura and Emma; sister, Lillian (David) Snyder; sister -in-law, Jackie Wagenknecht; cousin, Faith Bennetts; and nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday, September 18, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with a Funeral Service at 11:00 am at Bacher-Moore Funeral Home, 3250 Greenwich Rd., Norton, OH 44203.  

Interment will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville, Ohio.
