Wayne G. Lennox, 86, loving husband, father, and grandfather, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2024.

Wayne was born Thursday, December 23, 1937 to the late Jack and Fern Lennox and lived in the Canal Fulton area most of his life. He worked for the City of Akron in highway maintenance for many years. Wayne loved amateur radio, his call sign is K8WGL. He also enjoyed golfing, riding his motorcycle, and the ocean. 

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Fern. He is survived by his wife, Lydia; step-son, John (Kim) Davis; step-daughter, Natalie (Steve) Futo; sister, Marla (Herb) Bresslauer; granddaughter, Sophia; niece, Dawn (Jay) Swanson; nephew, Alex Bresslauer; 7 great nieces and nephews; and many other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be Monday, April 29, 2024, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Bacher-Moore Funeral Home (Portage Lakes), 3326 Manchester Road, Akron, Ohio 44319.  Wayne's final resting place will be Rose Hill Burial Park.
